Well this is the town that brought you the free land that wasn't really... but here is some breaking news....

Sad part is I know the people involved and I really doubt that it is limited to just this one person who may or may not be guilty, but the press presumes guilty as charged. Lot of really good folks in the town, but they have had some really bad choices by the City over the years.... Just sad for all involved. I think a State Audit of the entire City operations for the last dozen years would be a lot more interesting.

Former Anderson city clerk accused of embezzlement

FAIRBANKS — A former Anderson city clerk is accused of using a city credit card to charge more than $8,000 for personal expenses ranging from TV bills to denture adhesives to Western Union transfers.
