Default anyone need an extra hand?

Hello everyone,

Im just gonna throw it out there. Dallas life has gotten too easy, and I am looking for a challenge. Does anyone up there need a hard working 23 year old ? I plan to head towards Bellingham in January. I have a bachelors degree, so I am done with school, and I know that there are many other ways of looking for jobs; however, I just wanted to try this option. Thanks.

Brenden

Your in Texas. Have you got any roughnecking experience? Any oilfeild at all? Perhaps a degree in Petroleum Engineering? You could do well here if you do.

Head towards Ketchikan in the spring. You can't help but find a job. Now, living quarters might be a different story, but jobs-a-plenty. It's a good, easy, forgiving place to get your feet wet. Contacts you make there can take you all over the state. Just make sure when you come up you have a good grubstake and kit. Then you won't become a sourdough quite as quick.....

I have worked on maintenance crews on an oil refinery in southern Oklahoma, but I am not sure how much that would help me up there. Ive done different sorts of jobs: warehouse in Germany, convenience store, mechanic, and now I am waiting tables which I hear is lucrative up there during busy tourist times. I am just not sure what kind of a crap storm Im going to walk into by landing in Ketchikcan in mid January.

January can be a tough time of year to find work in AK, unless going to the Slope, Anchorage, or Dutch.

Being able to do various things will vastly improve your chances, as will having the attitude of being willing to do whatever it takes

good luck

I could use one. Send it to me, I'll DM you my address. Pack it in ice or something so it doesn't rot before it reaches me!!
