Bob Lupo doesn't think citizens deserve an explanation for why he is against the Knik Arm Bridge.

Every person besides Bob Lupo gave a reason behind their decision.

Voters deserve an explanation.

He is like one of those a**hole inspectors that act like they are God when they come into your business.

The Assembly has been blocking it since the first studies were done in the 1960's or even sooner.

Their real reason is that it would drain people out of Anchorage and take the Residence tax base with them to the MatSu Borough. That is also why they were against the ferry as well, made it too easy to get to the valley for commuters.

Politicians won't do anything that will jeopardizes their jobs or power base.

Star hit the nail on the head. Anchorage Assembly is against a bridge or a ferry because they fear people moving out of the Anchorage bowl. Probably a well placed fear. But it will happen eventually anyway.
