Idaho is okay. Truthfully, of all the states I've visited, it is the most like Alaska... but just not close enough. I miss Silverbow's super cinnamon bagels. I miss hiking out to False Outer Point and being the only person on the beach as far as the eye can see. I miss that stupid roundabout and the odd cast of characters that seem to be drawn to it. I miss "dog poop trail" and having a plane practically land on top of me. Gah! Only two more months...

Hi Sun Queen!

It was gorgeous today....bright blue sunny skies and maybe 38 degrees. Sunshine and I drove to Anchorage today for some building supplies...great scenery the whole trip...and the stars were out in full force driving back this evening: . You should have seen how beautiful the mountains were with the fresh snow on them!

Bud

Hi Bud! I am glad to hear u and Sunshine had such a beautiful trip. Did u by any chance take any pics to send my way? I wish I were in AK for that gorgeous day. Are u almost finshed building project? We are having great weather, but u have to drive a great distance to embrace any scenery or hike any trails. It is nothing like Alaska. Oh well if wishes were fishes I would have alread caught the biggest one in AK. Say Hi to Sunshine for me. Happy Sunday morning to u too.

I think u r an excellent weather man. Thanks for letting me know just how cold cold can get. We are still having great weather here, I have not checked the weather for the day, but when I went outside to sit and drink my am cup of coffee it looked sunny and fair. I am sure AZ cannot compare to AK though. Good Sunday morning to u too

November 4 and still no snow at sea level in Anchorage. I see people from Hillside driving around with 2-3 inches on their cars, but none down here by the airport.

Thanks. Seeing as I have a million and one things to do before I go, I'm sort of hoping it will go slow, at least until I can get my butt in gear...
