I happen to work in a max-security prison, and the one thing I notice:
nobody is spending time here for being overly-intelligent...

I'm sorry this had to happen (we get more & more weirdos through town every year) but I'm so proud of our kids and the parent with them. They had the presence of mind to get the license plate number. Talkeetnans rock! This isn't the first time we've had to deal with stupid people. Visit Talkeetna and behave cause we will bring justice to the offenders.

Type: Suspect Arrest- 6 counts Robbery 1, 7 counts Assault 3
Text: At about 1230 hours on 11/07/07, members of the MatSu Unit of the
Alaska Bureau of Investigation arrested Kendra Butts, 18 years old, of
Wasilla, for her role in the Halloween night armed robbery and assault
of children in Talkeetna. Butts was discovered hiding in the crawl space
of a Big Lake area home, after investigators went to the home in
response to receiving anonymous tips from memebrs of the public that she
was there. Butts was remanded at MatSu Pretrial facility, in Palmer, on
6 counts of Robbery in the First Degree, and 7 counts of Assault in the
Third Degree. Bail was set at $75,000 cash plus court approved third
party.
