Apartment Rentals in Bethel (Valdez: hospital, housing, bedroom)

Hello all again,

As the subject line says, I am looking for an apartment in Bethel.
Since I am not certain that I will stay past a year, I do not want to buy a home just yet.

Warptman gave me a link to the local classifieds, but there really wasn't much in the way of rental places there.

How much should I expect to pay for utilities for a 2 bedroom place?

Any areas to avoid?

Any suggestions here would be helpful.

You can call the hospital here, they have housing personal there. I'm sure they can answer questions about rentals here.

Information on Bethel has been flowing fast and furious lately! - I think we now know more about Bethel then Valdez. Bethel does have roads - so buy a old car until you know if you are going to stay more than a week. Bethel as I recall has a little over 6000 people and if you referenced the links provided in the past you would know that spam is not the only food source. They have telephone, they have TV, they even use the dollar as the fair rate of exchange, if you are looking for a rental call the paper and see if they have listing you can link to, call the city hall, If I were you I would be more concerned with what clothing to bring or get before you come. Swim suit and shorts is probably out. However after you have been Through a winter - shorts may be in besides national bird of Alaska will welcome you!!!
