I did my presentation today... Took a little while to get the power point setup, but all in all it was a smashing success.
The kids were literally gasping with amazement at some of the pictures. They asked lots of good questions, some even stayed after to talk with me. I met one girl who was on a cruise ship this summer, and another who has been to Fairbanks.
I think their favorite part was when I told them about my famous swimming incident. 
I just want to thank everybody who contributed pictures or information- a big shoutout to Warptman for the wonderful pictures of native events, as well as one to Rance- the kids loved your picture of the arctic fox. |
