I want to get a telescope one of these years just to sit there and ponder if there is anything out there. Oh, and to freeze outside cause we know that you can't see stars in the summer in Alaska.

Get a telescope with a CCD and computer control. Then your telescope can freeze outside while you sit inside at your PC and view the night sky from your warm computer chair.

I'm still waiting for a response from the Department of Defense on my idea to hook up a few thousand Hellfire equipped UAVs to the Internet so the average American citizen can use their Playstation or X-Box to hunt terrorists from the comfort of their living-room couch.
