Hopefully The 'Old Bag' dosent hyjack my thread .
Just got laid off. Made 30 an hour, OT after 8, among many making same and more. (didnt meet an AK girl ,looked hard, maybe this year). Im picky!!!!
Dont watch Craigslist or this forum ,,, get your azzz up there and jump in... work 4 on --2 off on the slope, free room and food, dont keep a home just work then on your 2 weeks off split to wherever.

Be honest with you tho, it was a bit tough goin. Had 3 days off in the 3 months I worked on ADOT highway jobs among other things. The F in Alaska contractors know they have 3 months to rebuild and pave a road so they go apeshyttie so go for it. $2400 a week gross all day long . If your young and want a piece of Alaska -- get up there and quit askin question to these old couch rockets!!!!!!
