45 here in Bethel, all the snow we had melted. Roads are back to dirt. This sucks.

45 here. It looks disgusting outside.

Wouldn't it be nice if winter would just start at a predictable and stay winter until it's over? I guess that doesn't happen anywhere, really.

20F here, and supposed to maybe make the mid-30s. It's been beautiful out the last few days. Would like to get some more snow, though.

So after a few weeks of winter, breakup has come. Drove over the Kasilof River today. No ice at all. Same goes for all of the rivers south of there. I didn't pay attention to the Kenai for some reason.

Most of the snow is gone, too.

Soon we'll have second winter, I suppose. It's like winter had to catch its breath after a shaky start. A pretty long breath, at that.

What snow we had from the first melt is gone again. I don't mind the warm weather, it's easier on the heating bill.

How are you guys in Fairbanks enjoying the warm weather? It's warmer by you the next 7 days than it typically is here in Brookings, South Dakota which is one of the colder parts of the country. Whenever the bitter cold air hits us it usually brings warm air up into Alaska, so I am enjoying your below zero weather this winter.

I guess I could share some of my snow with you guys.
This was yesterday clearing my driveway from the snow that fell the day/night before.
