Default moving to Bethel

Hi. Forgive me but this is the first time I've used this forum. I'm going to be relocating to Bethel and I have a lot of questions. I guess the two most important to me at this point is 1) how hard is it to find housing and 2)i have to dogs i'm going to have to relocate. Are people pretty lenient about pets?

Scroll around and find all posts by spleenificus, he is moving here also and most of the questions you'll ever ask will be on them.

Thanks. I actually just did that and got a lot of information. I'm very excited. I imagine I'll be able to get a lot of help from my new employer.

I heard that Bethel was a dry county. Is that true?

Where are you moving from? I just pulled into work, snowdrifts everywhere. Just the state is out plowing now, I'm pretty sure that the city workers are plowed...lol. The side streets away from the state highway are still full of snow. It really hasn't gotten cold yet, the coldest it got so far was about 5 above. Now it is around 26 and still snowing.

Not sure if it's dry or damp, damp meaning you can purchase your own and fly it in (for your own personal consumption. Warptman is a better choice for that answer. But Bethel is a town, we have boroughs not counties. Not a big deal. Each village makes the choice on alcohol possession and sale for itself.

Bethel is a "damp" town, you can bring it with you or order it. Sale of Alcohol is illegal here. All the villages around here are what they call a "local option," which means they have to vote to bring in the alcohol. They all decided to all go dry, you can't have any in possession. Heres a few links on the Bethel Area....
