I am missing Alaska terribly. I am down here in northern Arizona and see hundreds if not thousands of Alaskan license plates. My question would be where do you like to head to to warm up in the winter. My main guesses would be
1. Hawaii
2. Arizona
3. New Mexico
4. Florida

I recommend Northern Arizona mountains my self but I am bias. I am counting down the days till next summer when I can come back.

Crax me up when Alaskans go to Hawaii for a break only to see a bunch of their neighbors down there

I like Florida but it seems like it takes forever to get there... But we've done Florida, Hawaii and Arizona. And Las Vegas. It's nice when you can get out for a week or so about 1/2 way through the winter. We managed to do it about every other year...

I encountered way more Alaskans in Arizona than I do in Hawaii. My middle son will be attending the University of Hawaii starting in August so I imagine I'll be seeing even more of it.......darn!

Harrier thought that real Alaskans spent the winter in Alaska(or maybe that was that one had to spend at least one winter in the state to be a real Alaskan).
