Slim pickins'...I own a home there. I leased it out to the city and it got trashed, freeze-ups, etc.

It is hit-and-miss. Housing is always in demand there. You have to know someone who lives there to keep an eye out for one that suits your requirements - big family, single, etc.

What kind of work do you do?
Just curious...

Ray--Born in Fort Yukon.

I lived in Ft Yukon 4.5 years. Housing is hard to come by, but you might want to get ahold of my former landlady, Doris Ward, She may have a house for you.
Ft Yukon is a mighty grim place socially. Are you sure you want to settle there?

Ft Yukon is right on the Yukon River north-east of Fairbanks maybe 100 air miles. I've been there a few times but don't know a whole lot about the place. (other than it gets REALLY COLD there in the winter) (like -50!)

Default Fort Yukon

Hi,
I lived in Fort Yukon for years. I have recently moved out and I have a house for sale. Look on forsalebyowner.com or on craig'slist.com to view the house. Or I can e-mail pictures of the house if you would like to see them.

Default Houses for sale in alaska is expensive.

I just want a small place with a fireplace. I never thought it would be that much cash.

Renting would be more my taste at those prices. Same it is difficult getting a place to live.

me.
