Proposition One will give the state an additional 8 billion dollars if SB 21 is repealed!

The financial gain from legalizing weed is not even remotely close to the oil revenues!!

Conoco Phillips makes 8$ a barrel in profit from oil in the lower 48

Oil sold internationally they have a 24 dollar profit margin on a barrel of Oil

In the State of Alaska Conoco Phillips make a whopping 31 dollars per barrel in profits

VOTE YES ON PROPOSITION ONE - make the oil companies (The seven sisters) pay their fair share to the state!

They make hundreds of billions on profits every year - they can afford it.

Medical marijuana ie hemp oil cures various types of cancer, not to mention a dozen other ailments. All the crude oil in the world can't do that. If making it legal so folks that wish to utilize it as they see fit can do so legally, I'm all for it.

You take 8 billion bucks from the oil companies...and they will dwindle drilling to a slow crawl. They will reduce drilling and production to little or nothing...to pay less to the state.

If the taxes from a legal marijuana program alone will be the difference between you and I paying state taxes...I'm all for making it legal.

How many barrels of oil a day go through the pipeline now ? Less than 500,000 @ (rounded off) 100 bucks a barrel

Just how many bags of weed a day do you think will be purchased in this state @ the rate of 100 bucks a good size bag??

There is no way in a blue moon that weed will make a dent in that figure of daily sales. It's like comparing a "pebble" to a mountain!

500,000 people in Alaska are not going to be buying a bag every day no matter what the price is.
