Hey eileen60:

I live in Coushatta Louisiana and i use to live in Alaska. I'm 47 years old and you don't ever want to go from Louisiana Weather to Alaska Weather especially in the cold. It's way too cold up there. It's extremely bitter cold. It's a beautiful place to visit but i wouldn't live there again. I use to live in Sand Point Alaska. If you go to GOOGLE and type in Sand Point Alaska you'll see where i use to live. It's beautiful in the warmer months but in the winter you actually have to stay inside or else you will freeze.

Would be nice if the wind stopped blowing here, we have minus 60 wind-chills this morning. The temperature is at minus 17.

10 degrees in Juneau right now, although I suspect that with the wind chill it is quite a bit lower, seeing as we have a high wind advisory out. Don't bother me much. We had that cold snap what was it? Last week maybe, where it was like -20 and I got sick of that real quickly. It's been in the twenties lately- shorts and stockings weather. I guess I'll have to wear long pants today.
