This is my buddy Gary's place. He farms. They are really good, although I've never eaten any other than his. He claims those from Kachemak Bay are the best in the world. You can contact them and get some info maybe.

Thank you! I checked out the site and it looks like a great place. My family has An oyster cannery in washington and I believe that they are the best oysters in the world haha. I will have to try Gary's oysters and compare.

Cordovan is on a distinguished road
We just had a Main Street picnic in Cordova to celebrate 100 yrs since they created the original town site (any excuse for a party in this town). Some hero volunteer sat at the seafood buffet and chucked over 45 dozen huge Windy Bay oysters for the town. We were slurping 'em down as fast as he shucked, and he was fast. I can attest, those are the finest oysters to be had.

I dunno, these oysters down here on Prince of Wales are pretty darn good...something "Lagoon" where they are farmed; in Coffman Cove, I believe. OMG...broil 'em, with butter and Tabasco and bread crumbs...mmmmm....or just dot some Tabasco and slurp 'em down raw...sweet, tender, never had a bad one!
