Little League?
We are looking to relocate to the Talkeetna area. We are from northern WI...came us here as greenhorns 23 yrs ago and paid our dues (including -60 on the thermometer.) We've battled late freezes and early frosts as well as hostile weather...so...we think we might be able to make it.
My boys (girls too) love baseball...and I just wanted to know if anyone knows if there are Little League teams that far north.

I remember playing softball at 1:00 A.M. in Talkeetna.
Not sure about Little League itself...they may have it there now. They didn't when I was there, but it didn't stop anyone from using the baseball field. There was always something going on.

Hmm...
Moose nuggets, huh? I almost hate to ask...it kind of sounds like goat berries, cow pies...etc. Am I on the right track? lol

LOL...there is a Moose Dropping festival in Talkeetna every summer--great fun.
I looked online and couldn't find any Little League teams there but they do have them in Palmer and Wasilla, and they are building a Little League field in Big Lake.
I think that even without Little League there, your kids will have plenty of chances to play...

Thanks!
I looked online too. I didnt find anything close enough to be able to sign up as many of the children as would want to play. (Probably 4 of them this year.) Who knows...maybe we should start up out own league.
Thanks for the info. Any advice?
