We're in the middle of a heatwave. Better than the full month and a half of sub-zero weather.

the cold snap stayed up here in the northern part of Florida
the citrus crops are mainly south so weren't affected
the one night we had the hard freeze I had 3 layers of sheets covering the lemon tree. [quote]

Karla, the oranges here in the market look like cr*p! You know how you can look at them and just tell they're all dried up inside? Yeah....crazy. I saw strawberries at Fred's yesterday too...a bit early for those and they weren't lookin' too pretty.

I like the 4012 oranges, the bigger ones, more juicy. One of the stores here brought in some blood oranges for a test and never sold them again. Those were the best things I've ever tasted, wish they sold them again.

Come on warpt! You're too nice a guy not to share...

Have you ever had blood orange soda? It's pretty good too! I had an Italian soda made with blood oranges. Really yummers.

Hands Cobolt three bloody oranges to make soda's. I wonder if they sell them in Anchorage. I think I'll give my sister a call and have her ship some out.

What was it? Did it also involve dark chocolate?
