I was so embarrassed earlier, I was crossing the highway on my bike at the busiest intersection in Bethel and when I got to the other side of the highway, my front wheel washed out in the snow and down I went. I never got up so fast in my life from a fall!

One time in Anchorage I saw a guy on a bike fall over in the middle of the road while crossing. He got up hopped on the bike and fell over again. Then he hopped on again and rode off. I was laughing so hard.

I am mad, as soon as I leave Haines, it gets two feet of snow.

Some would say Mainer's (Mainah's),... But I believe "Maine-Iacs" is the term you're refering to.

Main-ers.. (chukle) I like that !!

I worked with a group of people in valdez many years ago, Carpenters from that Great State. (Maine).. but they seemed mighty proud of the "other" version !

I like Main ahs much better.. York beach was always one of my favorite places to go on weekends.. in the early seventies.!
