This is wet snow, too. Should be fun tomorrow with the blower.

Its a fresh off the boat driver. He was confused between the next house and my place. I don't order from that place anyways.

Yay for the tow truck!

This web cam is about 30 miles north of town. In a fairly dark area.
Just went outside to see if I could see any lights. If they are there they are too weak to get over some light polution. Nice clear skys though. Maybe they will move farther south so I can enjoy them too! Haven't seen hardly any this entire winter.

Cool, I got a picture of the Alascom tower strobe flashing in middle of the picture. That blue light.

And here I was going to ask if you had a UFO landing or what!

I was surprised to see in an earlier photo that Bethel has a traffic light. Now what do they do when the river ice melts?

Anyone else here think the "Matress Ranch" commericals are like the scariest thing you've ever seen? Scary old sponge-bob-tie man... dancing around getting way too excited about mattresses. During Fur Rondy he had the weird polar bear guy and the poor little girl...

If it will make you feel any sorts of better, warptman, it is actually warmer where you are. It is all of 15º on this mountain. At least the winds have calmed to all of 10 mph. We don't have the snow though.

Xa'at...is that an Alaskan commercial? I don't watch much telly and did not recognize the name.

Arctic...it looks as though the activity is waning, at least from the wecam's point of view.

yea, the season is ending as we get more light. Though this is the start of the next solar cycle so in the next few years they should be getting much better.
I think they follow the Sun's solar cycle of 11 years.

I do hope so....just in time for my first winter there! WOOT! I was up late last eve (and again this night as I glance at the clock) and the images from the webcam were nearly blinding for a time. Did you happen to view those?
