Well, you'd probably know better than me. I'm an amateur aurora hunter. I do know that next time we go out, we're bringing something to do. Maybe a camping lantern and a deck of uno cards.

Oh I am definitely amateur...I just am enthralled with them enough to google the crap out of them. I do have this alarm from one of the many sites I've visited that emails me when there is a chance for mid-latitude auroras. I drew the line on having it sent to my cell phone - there has to be control of this obsession somewhere - lol. Though I may turn into a flat-out lunatic when I arrive in AK.

It's cloudy here. Did I mention I'm headed to Sweden tomorrow night? Well I am. So try to be on your best behavior! Rabble rowsers!

Actually it's tonight. I'm up late.

Good on you, Rance...safe journey. Methinks I will be ensconced indoors once again *sigh* with perhaps a foot of global warming falling on the ground.

Oh, I apologize for my rabble rousing behavior. It's just that I saw this awful propoganda commercial for tourism and it's got me all fired up and annoyed. Less than a month now before those floating tubs of lard start pulling in.

Hey, does plowing the drive after everyone was stuck in it the same as closing the barn door after the horses have escaped? When do the cows come home there? LOL.

High kicks Arctic, boot to the head. I plowed it out of boredom, then my back reminded me who was in charge. Now my back is way sore. I'll go out and clear more tomorrow. I wish that I still worked at the airport so I can take the Cat 906 down and bucket the snow out. Might have to go work weekends there just so I can do that and fly to Anchorage for free. But then that would be a lot of work with two jobs.
