Do they ever get bacon & eggs? My wife was feeding our miniature poodle breakfast this morning. He turned up his nose at the bacon & the eggs but wanted to lick the butter off the toast.

They do get boiled eggs now and then. Roxie - the black lab is not at all choosy...anything that falls on the floor is fair game. Max - the chocolate lab is a little more picky (she has insecurity issues to boot as well). The Bug - (papillon) is my wee vacuum cleaner. I cannot believe he turned his nose up to the bacon!

I thought a papillon was French for butterfly. Is The Bug a small dog?

It is French for butterfly - it's their ears. But they are actually a Spanish breed. Here the wee chap is:

He looks a bit like a collie. He rules the house doesn't he?

Haha...yes. Typical small dog attitude - not afraid of anything. Everyone who sees him sees a hairy Chihuahua.

Gawd...I can see him becoming a snack too...he doesn't think. I have my concerns about putting a doggy door in when we move. Both for the dogs - and cat - and for the beasties who decide to venture in

Down here people sometimes try to use them to rob the house. Although they seem happier to steal the garage door remotes from peoples' cars these days.

I have concerns with that as well....but I haven't problems here. Of course it leads out to the dog porch and the doors are locked. If someone was that determined, he'd be in for a rude awakening with my three. One would bark and the other two would lick his face off.
