Imagines Rance there with reading glasses on trying to thread the needle and everytime he misses, he gulps a beer until he threads it right.

Xa'at
Do you want me to send hubby up there to fix your computer ? But you have to promise to send him back because he has to go and help rance build his cabin hopefully this summer.
and rance I may have to come up there now to help too because I have always wanted a post hole digger.
eeekkk 2 trips is really going to convince hubby even more how much he wants to live there.

p.s. love the sewing machine rance I am kicking myself that I didn't keep my grandmothers that looked just like that

Default Sweden 27 vs Spain 26! (Oh, and it's my brother's 20th birthday, wohoo!)

NAME:
Kenneth Way (Grumpy Bastard)

SEX:
Not lately, but I am looking for the right woman (or at least one who will cooperate)

DESIRED POSITION:
Company's President or Vice President. But seriously, whatever's available. If I was in a position to be picky, I wouldn't be applying here in the first place.

DESIRED SALARY:
$185,000 a year plus stock options and a Michael Ovitz style severance package. If that's not possible, make an offer and we can haggle.

EDUCATION:
Yes.

LAST POSITION HELD:
Target for middle management hostility.

PREVIOUS SALARY:
A lot less than I'm worth.

MOST NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENT:
My incredible collection of stolen pens and post-it notes.

REASON FOR LEAVING:
It sucked.

HOURS AVAILABLE TO WORK:
Any.

PREFERRED HOURS:
1:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL SKILLS:
Yes, but they're better suited to a more intimate environment

MAY WE CONTACT YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYER:
If I had one, would I be here?

DO YOU HAVE ANY PHYSICAL CONDITIONS THAT WOULD PROHIBIT YOU FROM LIFTING UP TO 50 lbs:
Of what?

DO YOU HAVE A CAR:
I think the more appropriate question here would be "Do you have a car that runs?"

HAVE YOU RECEIVED ANY SPECIAL AWARDS OR RECOGNITION:
I may already be a winner of the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes, so they tell me..

DO YOU SMOKE:
On the job - no!
On my breaks - yes!

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE DOING IN FIVE YEARS?:
Living in the Bahamas with a fabulously wealthy dumb sexy blonde supermodel who thinks I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread. Actually, I'd like to be doing that now.

NEAREST RELATIVE:
About 7 miles

DO YOU CERTIFY THAT THE ABOVE IS TRUE AND COMPLETE TO THE BEST OF YOURKNOWLEDGE:
Oh yes, absolutely.

Old People Rock!
Hahaha! I'm actually writing a resumé (ok, we call it a CV these days) for my last Swedish C assignment. D'you think my teacher would accept something like this? (Yeah, you heard me; I'll just copy this one. Might get some remarks about "Why is it in English" and so, but really, I don't think anyone would notice. What? You think they would? Naaa!)

I am sooooo happy!!!! No, not because it's my brother's 20th birthday which means that I'm going to eat cake tonight or because that means that he now can go to Systembolaget and buy me some boose (I don't drink, though, hm...), but because Sweden just beat Spain in handball! Seriously (I know, I'm trying to learn not to say that all the time. Actually, I say "ärligt", but I mean, who cares) it was 8 seconds left, we had one player out, so we were 5 to 6, and Spain had the ball. So, 8 minutes left, it's 26-26, and everyone's saying "This is it for Sweden", and Spain shoots... AND MISSES! So, 2 seconds left, and Källman (oh, he is so cute, looks a lot like one of my classmates) runs like crazy and... SCORES!!!! 1 second left, and he scores!
Sweden won the game with 27 vs 26!!! Wohoo! (We had a tie yesterday with Hungary, and we needed to win this game.)

I'm happy. And now I'm off to listen to Pimsleur Spanish (well, I know I was cussing over Spain and saying I will never again say a single word in Spanish, but now, since we won...I guess it's ok. It's not like they're learning Swedish anyway, huh?) while fixing my brother's birthday gift. He's a guy, so what other than... candy?
Yeah, seriously, huh?

(P.S. Did I sound like tooootally crazyyy in this post? "Uhm, no Hannah, not just in THIS post, but in ALL posts..."
Hm... Might be the "Paris Hilton" left in me after that party in October... I'm telling y'a, once a stupid blonde, always a stupid blonde. Sigh. There is just no cure for this, hope y'all understand... I cannot help it. )

Karla, I'm having a bit of a problem concerning the yarn-thingy. Mom's hid it, or the cats took it. I'd probably go for mom, though one never knows. Yesterday, I found my newly knitted Swedish flag in my cute baby persian's mouth. How the...?!
Do people really need scarves in Florida or are you really thinking about moving to Alaska?

Oh my gosh! This is just getting even better, I AM following the family tradition to 100%! 1. You're older than me, 2. Your mother shares birthday with my brother!
Coolt! I must tell Niklas (my brother) that. (Now there is not a single person in my family that does not share birthday with someone else in the family. That is coolt)

Tell her grattis på födelsedagen! (Ask your grandma to translate, or she might figure that out herself...)

Sweet! And I'll pass that on Sweden!

I have just discovered we have a massage chair here at work! A Brookstone OSIM imedic 380. OMG what a massage! It goes to the bone! I want one for the house!
I also discovered we have a water massage table. I have not used it yet but I will. I may never have trouble falling asleep here again.

A present from those of us who are snow-gifted.

Thanks for the gift!! The snow was awesome. Its the first real snow that MS has had in about 10yrs. It didn't stay around long though. I took pictures the day of and the day after its crazy how quickly most of it went.

Wanna make me fat, Karla?

I'll see what I can do on the colour front. I need something to knit anyway, I'm going crazy watching TV without doing anything productive... Me lazy...

I just realized something: ä and ' are so close to each other that oftentimes, I write ' instead of ä, and vice versa. But, if you pronouce I am, it is the same pronounciation as if it was spelled Iäm. See? Just a coincidence? I think not...

Rance, you have waaay to much spare time now that you have the blizzard. Hm, you don't think the massage chair might be able to just "slip" into your luggage when you return home? *hint, hint*
