Well perhaps with a shot of something potent, purely for medicinal purposes.

Anyways I used to put peppermint snapps in my hot chocolate, but then one day I crossed the line from medicinal to exesive. I tried to get back to medicinal but I kept getting more and more dangerous to myself and others. So long story short one day last Summer for the common good I revoked my drinking rights of all fluids fermented. It turned out to be the best thing I could have ever done for myself. |

It'd be far easier to remove the "don't ask don't tell" policy in the US military (and besides, I don't go around talking about being a heterosexual, why would anyone, particularly in the military, care to listen to someone talking about their homosexuality? It's a subject that shouldn't be discussed anyways on any job) than it would be to end the restrictive gun laws in the UK, get rid of the thousands of cameras watching everyone there, etc. In light of that reality I'd say we are much more free than the UK. The government really shouldn't even be involved in marriage at all, on either side.

I have a real problem with people who complain about how bad it is to live in America, yet continue to live here and reap the benefit. The US isn't perfect by a long shot. But it's a darn sight better than most of the rest of the the world. Good, decent people sacrificed everything defending our rights and freedoms. It really gets my goat when others who never donned a military uniform pee and moan about how little freedom they have. If they want to experience real oppression they should move to the middle east someplace. I served in the Military and I consider it to have been a privilige, not a sacrifice. America has become a land of pissers and moaners and spoiled rotten little children. Somehow I had the impression that Alaskans were of the conservative, nationalistic, pioneer, self sufficient types, and not a bunch of whiny liberals who like nothing more than to bellyache about how bad off they have it. I hope I'm not wrong. |
