Cheers and thanks for the honorary title, Xa'at! Unfortunately there will be no invading for me - it's 10:30 here and I have to be up at the ungodly hour of 3am... Let me know how it goes and where it went down so I can read later and work on my cackle!

Why not pick Marty's brain?

We already had a realtor lined up before I had ever seen Marty's site
No offense please, Marty. Our realtor has been going the extra mile thus far (the cabin in Willow wasn't listed under him). I am completely new to this as the other two homes I've purchased in my life were from owners and I've never worked with a realtor until now. |

So is Willow the only town you would be willing to live in?

No...Wasilla area as well. I liked the looks of Palmer, but quite frankly, the winds I've heard about turned me off. I have had it with winds in near constancy. We have to live somewhat close to Anchorage for the flight to and from the slopes. I even liked the Fairbanks area but that idea was squashed by the man as being 'too cold'.

Je suis rentrée!
Have you considered the Kenai peninsula? Still relatively close to Anchorage but more of an Alaska-y feel. So, we need to wait around for a few more people. I bet warpt and Rance will be ambling in soon. What state forum should we invade? |

Yes...we thought on Kenai, but the husband decided with the tourists in the summer, it may be a bit crowded. We don't wish to live in a town per se...but then again, property costs.
Hmmm...Montana? Hawaii? Philadelphia??? |

I should go back and search for the Soldotna area...would that be inundated with tourists come summer?

I was thinking NYC. There'd be lots of people to bug there, right?

We could take over Barkley's neck of the woods
