Theres a lot of them around. In the second picture just a few miles behind there is where I normally get them. Ptarmigan jerky sounds good about now.

We're up to 16 inches as of now, this is so much snow for us, especially overnight and all day!

Why yes...yes I did! -11 is nowhere close to Kuparuk. Heck I never even added the windchill!
I'll have my camera in hand come Wednesday! It's high time I hit the trails on the cross country ski's and get some pictures.

it's cold as hell here. wind chill this afternoon could hit -21. was -17 this morning coming to work, 2 degrees actual. was -10 actual in the valley at a friends house.
