I saw the winds were ghastly there, Rance...the husband is growly because of it. He stated he knew who you were - his office is right next to the restroom

Aha! Is he the big guy? I'll have to stop in and introduce myself.

I think the final high temp today was 72º and that was much welcomed following last week's foot of snow. Daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths are blooming madly in my gardens. There is a fair chance for thunderstorms on the morrow - perhaps it will be a grand show for photography!

There is nothing better than seeing tulips & crocus bloom, then I just wait for the peonies & lilacs! And thunderstorms, love them! Of course, when I used to live away from the city I was scared to death because of tornados, but since I don't have that fear in the city, bring 'em on! Hey, do you ever go to any horse ranches there, the kind that you can vacation at where you get your own horse for the week? That's something I've been wanting to do for awhile, unfortunately I don't think any of my friends would be willing, I'd go by myself. It's expensive though, at least what I've checked out.

Too bad we are moving...you could come ride mine for free They are staying here in Wyoming though...I could not bring myself to make them travel that far. But, yes...when I was still in school, I helped out at a ranch outside of Jackson Hole, WY...helped round up wild horses behind the Tetons. A memorable time of it!
My crocuses lasted a mere three days before the snow hit and buried them. Flowers were gone when the snow melted

Oh that's too bad about the flowers, I always worry here when the flowers start blooming....no no no, go back inside it's not ready you're going to freeze soon! Wow, I can't believe you have horses, that is awesome!! Another one of my dreams is to eventually own a ranch...or at least some horses It must be a girl thing! You must be so bummed about leaving them, I hope you've got good people to take care of them, which I'm sure you do.

Yes I do...the family has a 12 year-old girl who quite possibly is even more horse crazed than I ever was - if that is possible. It is the best for the horses, driving that long would be difficult for them...they are older now. I have always been on horses, owned them...I hope to once again when we are settled.

That's good to know they'll be well taken care of. I used to take riding lessons when I was pretty young, I'd like to start up again, but man are private lessons expensive! But where there's a will there's a way, right? Seems like horses are in your blood, you won't be able to get rid of that easily, I suspect you'll get your horses soon enough
