Yeah, I love photoshop so much. I don't have terribly good hand-eye coordination so I can't draw well. Using photoshop reminds me that I really do qualify as an artist!

Have you downloaded that trial yet? I'd love to teach you some tricks...

Let me know when you've got it. I wrote a paper a while back about how to make fancy lettering in photoshop. I can show you how to make colors pop a little more and a good technique for sharpening, and on and on!!
I'm taking a digital photography class next semester, I'm really excited about it! It'll be my first formal photography instruction...

Oh that's wonderful! I am more of a self-taught sot, reading manuals until my eyes cross then just tinker with the buttons. Sometimes it works, sometimes no...but that is what the delete button is for and I still shoot regardless. RAW imaging has taken some thinking, but I like it.

Yep, me too! Tinker, tinker, tinker!! I'm really hoping I can forge a good relationship with the professor of that class- he's one of Juneau's pre-eminant photographers... And in the art world it's all about who you know!

Most definitely...it is on my agenda - hopefully sooner than later. The opportunities to photograph wildlife is from what I've seen and read, superb there.
