Considering it's his first post on CD - aren't you a wee bit flattered? I am in the chat room as well - it's open, fellow posters!

So you probably have apples and pears? The cherries do ok? Where can I get a cherry tree? Or two. Do you order them from out of state?

Default looking for information about moving to Skagway

My wife and I want to move to Skagway when I retire. Diana is already retired and is waiting for me. Visited Skagway in 05 and loved it. She is a retired RN, psychiatric nurse and I am an addictions therapist. Done a lot of other things in my prior lives. I looked for housing in Skagway and found none, any suggestions? or am I not looking in the right places. Any help would be appreciated

There are apple trees, but I dont know about pears. I am not sure where you can get cherry trees, alot around here were brought in ages ago, probably when the fort came in.

In Paris now. The weather is way hot for me. We got here lastnight. This is the most I've walked in years. Everything hurts! Yesterday it was 79 here, same high temp for today. I still haven't unloaded my cameras yet, I'll get to that one of these days. Hope everyone is doing good and I miss logging in and talking to everyone. Have a great evening!

My new pet peeve is men who hit on me. All men. Uck.
It's just nature at work, it's what we do.

If men didn't hit on women none of us would be here, indeed, the entire human race would not exist.

Now I'll grant you there are boorish ways and gentlemanly ways of "hitting on women," but the final goal is always the same.

Oh I'm so jealous!!!!!! You HAVE to go to St. Chappelle, it's this beautiful stained-glass cathedral, I believe they have symphonies take place in there. Anyway, if you go please please post some pics. Have an awesome time there, Paris is a perfect walking city. Don't forget to act like a parisian & get your espresso, sit at an outdoor cafe table & watch the people go by...sounds like heaven.
