Seems to me like most of the folks that populate the Alaska threads are laid back & easy going. Some of the threads that I've participated in, in my "home state" section are like this...

Quite frankly I'd rather chat with folks who are interesting & informative.

I went to a place called Supercuts down here in Charlotte a few years back. My hair was getting pretty long & I needed a cut. The woman that cut my hair gave me a buzz cut & wanted to know if I wanted to have a threesome with her & her boyfriend. When I got home my wife looked at me & told me that I looked like a Boston Terrier.

It took about 3 months for it all to grow back.

'Course if you're willing to be really different you could get your hair beaded & braided like I did the last time I was in Barbados.

Yea, Supercuts was almost as good here as it is there. They be gone now.

Lots of oppertunity in Alaska, but you have to be good at what you do!

Yeah, but I was 20 at the time, young & foolish. I'm 43 these days & probably just the same otherwise.

Well your still young, just may not be as foolish! Enjoy your age, you will think back on this time and wish if I was only 43 again!

Arctic, we're almost 40 degrees warmer than you. Its snowing here, too. We had a dump the other day of 14 inches of snow, a new record of snowage.

Damn, there goes that youth and vigor again! Well age and trechory will win in the end!

In the mean time send some snow this way! I am getting tired of -20.
