This December, when I was in Oregon, there was this huge storm. It wasn't horribly bad where I was, so I didn't realise what it did to W. Washington. I have pictures (still waiting for better internet to upload them!!) of entire highways washed into rivers- with little red signs: "bridge out"!! A friend of mine over on the coast was telling me about this one guy whose house just fell right into the ocean. In one place, there was a pole with a marker of the peak water height- at just about ten feet!

I've prepped the garden, mowed the lawn, set up scaffolding for the mason...now I need to eat some breakfast at 11:30 am...and then...I don't know what to do. Plant, go boating, do nothing...I just don't know.

Welcome home Highland Lady and Co. !!!!!!!

I've decided to make a dump run and mill a couple logs. Might as well keep getting stuff done. It'll be winter soon!

Speaking of fun. I mowed the lawn today. Man how I missed the smell of fresh mown lawn. And I even got half the garden planted! And we need rain! Like 2 days worth.
