Actually I rent an Italian brand tiller. It's a high speed tine front wheel drive and fluffes the dirt real well. The 8 foot fence keeps the moose out mostly because they can see it. They could walk right over it if they had a lick of sense. Fresh garden cabbage makes the best relish!

Eh, it's not so bad. I'm travelling a lot, not actually spending that much time in the spud state. I just spent a week in Washington, next I'm going to the east coast for a week on the NJ shore, then... who knows!
