For the last four years there has been a moose hunting ban in the lower Kuskokwim to help rebuild the stock of moose. A couple days ago people saw a moose here in downtown Bethel for the third year in a row! This must mean that the five year no-hunting law is working! One more year we can hunt them again in the Lower Kuskokwim drainage.

It is still raining here, I just put my mud tires on my bike, might go for a ride to the store or something. I just made a front fender for the bike and mounted it with a couple zip ties. I made it out of a old rear motorcycle fender and made a little flap at the end of it. I'm going to go test it out here in a bit. Whatever works works!
