He keeps breaking the smaller chains. Made this and he has yet to break it. You should see his chain that for when he's outside, just as big or bigger. He's a tough boy. Doesn't play well with other dogs.

This is true. My friend & I make margaritas from scratch, none of that premixed bottled crap for us, & they're fabulous. Much better than restaurants anyday, & boy are they strong! I finally got one of those lime juicers, still have to do it manually, but we were actually squeezing the limes by hand, talk about a hand workout!

It's okay. All that sweat labor makes drinking those delights....rewarding! HA HA. I put a bit of crushed pineapple in my mint julep last night. That was pretty nifty. Tonight: mojitos after grocery shopping.

So on Gus' report card he gets a "-" in the "plays well with others" category. Of course, my kindergarden report card (it was pink) had a "+" in it for that category. What were they THINKING? Didnt' know me very well.

It would be perfect for your pup if she doesn't like to have dogs bounding up to her. Plus the scenery is unbeatable.

Xa’at – This trail is one our favorites, I spend time there several mornings a week, have even gotten Dreamweavin out there once or twice (it is only a quarter mile from our house). You’re right the scenery is outstanding . . . but they haven’t been enforcing the leash laws lately every time I’ve visited there have been lots of big dogs just running loose. It is a pain in the ass for people like me who go there to photograph wild life. Several times I’ve spent a lot of time carefully creeping up to get a good close up, only to have a dog bound up and chase away the wildlife. Don’t get me wrong there are still a lot of good dog owners that do leash their dogs but it only takes a few who don’t respect the rights of the wildlife and other people who want to enjoy the area to really mess up a great location.

I'm heading into Anchorage for the weekend on Friday, I need to get out of town and one of my favorite bands is playing on Saturday. MxPx is one of the headliners for The Summer Meltdown at Koots, a outdoor concert, can't wait.
