I watch for the wrecks. Something about a 20 car pileup at 190 mph that takes a full minute to end...just draws me in.

I'd love to go see a Nascar race one of these years. I've already seen a Supercross race at Seattle, and outdoor Motocross races at Millville Minnesota and Washougal Washington. Seen the Mariners play in the Kingdome the year before they blew it up. Still needs to see a NBA game and a NFL game. Oh, and a NHL game, too.

You just need to go to the local track and take a spin driving during a Powder Puff race.

Having to drive in East Coast traffic most of my adult life before moving here 9 years ago, is not conducive to me doing the Powder Puff thing. Moved here to get away from all of that crap! I guess it's the same, in a different sort of way, as me watching hockey for the fights!

And while we're talking guy stuff, what's up with boxing? That one needs even more explaining than Nascar...

It does my heart good to see a man say he doesn't watch boxing. The guys I work with watch boxing and when I ask them what they get from watching two grown men beat the sh*t out of each other, they just give me the deer in the headlights look, then exchange sidelong glances, like "doesn't this dumb blonde get it?" Well, no, this dumb blonde doesn't get it, thus the question.

The only thing that NASCAR is good for down here is tying up traffic. I like the crashes too, but the rest is boring. I don't like boxing either.
