Good for you, Pilot2be.
I think the canadian person has a lot of nerve and probably lives with about 142 cats or some such. Sweden, don't ever let anyone make you feel badly for this. I don't know you well but it's clear that you have less than nothing to explain to internet canadians or others. |

I'm not an Okra fan...but this pickled stuff is to die for. Nice and crunchy and spicey! Other than that I've eaten it cut up and deep fried with a batter. Never eat it fried!
My Dad used to make pickled salmon, halibut, herring, pigs feet...you name it he was pickling it. I really never cared for it. Byt the time I hit my teens I was sick of fish. We lived on it for years in every imaginable form or shape.

I really don't think I could ever get sick of salmon, especially Kings. The last winter that Matt was at home before he took off for Europe the second time and then went off to college, he'd brought back a couple of hundred pounds of King from here on Prince of Wales. I knew it was the last few months we'd actually live together so I put a lot of effort into good meals and so on...and he knew that as well. We lived off King Salmon, Halibut, freshly baked bread, Pinot. It really was a great time and the healthiest I had ever been.
Still not sick of it; made salmon fettuccine tonight for dinner. |
