Well, I just had my salmon dinner. It was...uninspired. The salmon was dry, the brown rice not good & the frozen corn was just ok. My oven must be calibrated higher because the hour was much too long, I should've checked on it more often. I'll tell ya, if I was on a diet that consisted of my meal, and me making it? I would shoot myself. Hope reigns eternal though, I'll try it again, this time I'll either lower the temperature or check on it more often. But thank you guys for the recipe, it would've been great if it would've been not so dry.

You can't really mess up deep fried salmon, or beat it either.

OMG girl, that is way too long I think, when I do mine in hot oven 400-425, I cook maybe 15 to 20 minutes depending on thickness, about the same on the grill....

Never in my life did I anticipate the unholy mess glass cleaner in subzero temperatures makes on frozen glass. And not only that...what warm water and frozen glass cleaner looks like on aforementioned frozen glass.

Looks like you are in need of a good heat gun. Start at the top and work down.

Re: my thumb - thanks to the couple of people who suggested super glue. I took the bandage off and it had sealed itself. Now I'll put a little liquid bandage on it to keep it closed and clean.
Usually with these cuts I bandage it tight to get the skin to re-attach - works on clean cuts. Once it attaches I put the liquid bandage on to keep it closed. Works great, and heals real quick. If it doesn't attach then I just cut off the offending skin and let it heal from there. This really works great when you have a flap of skin/tissue. Most of the time stiches aren't necessary unless it's real deep. Often all you have is a scar for a few months/years then you can't tell at all.

I have tried superglue before but it seemed to interfere with the skin growing together and closing.

Thanks,
Brian

I found that pouring just a tad of beer in the foil, with a touch of butter and onion...basically steams the fish to perfection. I've also found that BBQ sauce is very good on salmon wrapped in foil.

ROFL!! That's a "visual"! I was cleaning today, too, but stopped short of the windows. I'm glad for your wisdom, because I think I'd have done the same

Oh I am thrilled that I did prevent another One door is now clear...the other will remain...well, odd looking until spring, I'm afraid. The beasties were besides themselves in mirth. I know it...their whiskers were trembling.
