Why does everyone hate the snow?

It is what makes winter the best season That and it is cooler than 70

I am sorry
yeah...normally I'd be sorry as well but this as been slushy, wet, sloppy, and frozen on the surface type of snow. Pretty much that's what we get on the southern Panhandle. It isn't any good for snow machining, snowshoeing, cross country skiing. It isn't quality snow like we get up North.

True. I have been in Ketchikan when it has snowed. Walking up and down the hills from the school to the grocery store and back was freaking scary in dress shoes

yeah, my road up North was always more driveable in the winter after we got the snowpack. Here though, we have a layer of road ice, some slushy snow, and water on top.

Default I'll trade with you guys!

We had severe thunderstorms and tornadoes all day yesterday and up until about 3 am this morning, running on about 3 hours of sleep right now ( I see a nap in my near future). Looks like it's all heading towards Karla with a K right now. I really think I'd rather have the snow!

We've had clear skies for the past 2 days due to that nice ridge of high pressure parked over us. It is awesome!! People are soooo much nicer when that big, yellow, orb is visible!
