Meanwhile, back to my Christmas iPod... I am currently listening to Gordon Lightfoot, and downloaded some of my favorite (and cheesy!) 80's pop ballads. Obviously, I need cultured friends like yourselves to save me from Bonnie Tyler and Blondie, Cheap Trick and a-ha.

Not that I won't keep listening to cheesy ballads, but I might broaden my horizons. My boys got me to listen to Evanescence and I got a real kick out of them (her).

This cross-posted to pics, but I will still take any and all recommendations. I promise to check them out, but not necessarily to put them into my iPod. (My Precious! gollum gollum)

I really like that girl's voice. She looks to be Black Irish or some other celtic crooner type.
