the road to Nome was reported in this mornings ADN ... another great idea from Palin by all accounts not everyone is happy about it.

On the volcano thing, i picked up a couple of bandanas on friday and a face mask yesterday, bandanas for us facemask for the dogs .. we have at least one that would hold it for a week before peeing in the house or garage.

waiting .... waiting ....

Well, if they want economic stimulus that will do it. Better than spending the money on condoms I guess.

Cut fillets into oh say...2" wide by width of fillets.

Pour a 1/4 cup of "Pace Salsa" into bottom of canning jar (I use pints).

Add fish leaving 1/2" to 1" space on top.

Pour another 1/4 cup of salsa on top.

Clean top rim of jar, install lid, and pressure cook as needed (90 minutes or whatever pressure cooker booklet recommends)

Enjoy. I usually dump the jar into a bowl, remove skin, add Mayo, stir, glop on sandwhiches with leaf lettuce, add black pepper and eat.
Got'er saved, thanks!

Found a youtube video on the Kisaralik River near here. I used to play up here with my jetboat! I miss that boat sometimes.
