I would do as the vets recommend though, introduce the new food slowly over time. I took about two weeks to get him off the commercial stuff and onto my own homemade goodness.
Treadmill huh. You can always turn on the telly while you run. I just can't seem to use the indoor exercise stuff - way too boring. I like to be outdoors to run. That said, of course when it's below zero and your going into a 30+mph wind - you don't need to run, walking is strenuous exercise then. The winds should be dropping down a bit through today and tomorrow.

Yes, Brian...must take the time for transitioning. I had looked into these dogfood analysis sites and it made my skin crawl reading on what is in the dogfood that touts how good it is for the canines. Is it any wonder the Labs have methane build ups?!
The new addition is on a brand I could not find here, so the transitioning will be of great importance for her as she is a puppy.
The treadmill has an iPod docking station...as long as I have my music, all is gravy. I've been out trudging about the grounds in the snow and that has been a workout...but I want to run!
On another note: Warpt, I finally picked up a bag of Kahladi(sp?) Brothers coffee...definitely a keeper!!

No, not the French. I picked up the Trieste Cafe blend. One cup and I am good to go!

Kaladi Brothers was the first coffee I tried up here, after reading about it before we moved. It is darn good. Right now I have Red Goat from them.

So....freaking....boring.
My roommates are all gone for spring break except one, and his girlfriend is over. So now I am trying to entertain myself
