Hey guys i could use some info on well water quality and the quantity on average in Houston AK area. And is it water stations locally i would think sense they are quite a few dry cabins in the area, I heard Anchorage does just don't know if the valley does .
Yes i could google it but whats the fun in that lol but seriously i would like your input on these questions.

I stayed in the RV park (which was otherwise very nice) and had a couple episodes of brown water. No idea what was in it but it looked foul. My friends house in Houston had good water. I'd have to say it can be variable based on that experience.

For drilling a well, it all just depends on where you exactly at... You can have great water and two streets over the water be not so good....
I'm not sure about places to get water in Houston, but I know the City of Wasilla has bulk water sales: City of Wasilla, AK : Bulk Water Sales
They've built a dispensing building near Wonderland Park too, but I don't think it's actually up and running yet.

I'm in Houston, my water is real good, although when repairing the pipe, I noticed a build up on the inside of the pipes. I'm told you can stop that with a filter, but I haven't yet. I do use a pitcher filter for drinking water sometimes, but not all the time.
