And I'm sorry, those caught on the battlefield without wearing a unifrom or other things declaring allegiance to a legitimate state entity aren't entitled to any sort of protections. They are called TERRORISTS! Ask Daniel Pearl just how much protection he was entitled to as those barbarians sliced off his head on tape. God, those of you spineless pansies who are more worried about the welfare of our enemies than the ability of our military to defend us are absolutely pathetic.[/QUOTE]

You must of miss read my post, as I was refering to American citizens. If we applied your line of thinking to when we seperated from England in the 1700s and the malitias and state guards didn't have uniforms then all of us decendents of those involved terrorists are circumspect.

Name calling doesn't proove your point, it just shows your mental state is deteriorating as the brain struggles to say something coherent and relavent.

My solution for the mideast problems are not very popular, but lets say the ingrediants require sending all them back home and using a device with Nutrino power which was introduced during the Nixon years and threatend against the USSR that we would test it in space.

What was happening there was an internal matter and not an International matter. If the US truely thought genocide was an international matter we would be in Africa with lots of troops to stop what is happening there too, but alas no oil.
Hmm, I thought that most Alaskans were better informed and less naive. I may have been quite wrong. I advise you to pay much less attention to the so-called "mainstream media" and much more to the facts.

Uhh, name-calling? I don't think so. However, I must refrain from any further political discussion here. I am fully aware that the majority of Alaskans aren't clueless "progressives" (what a complete contradiction-in-terms), and that I will be seeking help in my upcoming move to this great state. Therefore, I will drop any further political discourse in favor of seeking quality advice.

I looked for names of scientific journals in the links you provided and see news papers, magazines, and editorial opinions, mayge you should consider going to the source for more information and not one biased by the same medias. Personally I live in the land of question and am witnessing global warming first hand.

I watched Mr Powell when he presented his case to the Un on C span. The evidence just was not there. Even he advised prior to the invasion not to do it. Unfortunatly others have an agenda.

Xa'at's smile rather looks more like a smirk than a real grin, perhaps the late hour is to blame, or maybe a pointless discussion of ethics with a stone-age regressive has left her jaded. She cranks up the punk rock music and flips her dark hair back carelessly, wondering vaguely what the future holds for mere mortals such as herself.
Have a good night- and all the best of luck finding someone to help you.

Hah, see, we've got something in common. Tonight is A.F.I. night.
Just so you don't think I'm a complete meanie, a few tips about using the forum-
1.) Use the forum search!
People 'round here tend to get annoyed answering the same question multiple times. So, before you post a question, run a quick forum search, for example if you wanted to know about the crime rate, you could search for that, and even tack on a city name and you'd get some good results. Most of us have written a lot of long, essay-like responses to questions, and they're not difficult to dig up.
2.) Check out the recent pictures thread. It's been going since this summer and features pictures of cities all around Alaska. A good way to see the places you might be looking at.
3.) Subscribe to threads
If you haven't done so already. You can set it in your preferences that you receive e-mail notifications of new replies on threads that you have started or posted on.
4.) Be specific
It's a big state, and things that apply in one place may not in other places. When you ask a question, mention what areas you are thinking about so we can tailor our responses.

Well, I suppose that's it. That darn novel I'm trying to write is calling my name...

I appreciate your suggestions. I know that PA isn't Alaska but we do get very, very cold and and snowy. The wife and I had a farm in central PA and I've had to close up the chickens when it was well below O degrees(not counting the wind chill) many a time. The duration of the cold might not be as long but we're still accustomed to it.

We're thinking about Wasilla and planning a week-long visit to help cement our convictions to move north. My spouse got her doctorate from one of the top pharmacy schools in the country(University of Pittsburgh) and is a professional drug dealer. I can't foresee her having a problem getting a job.

I'm a serious computer nerd so rest assured that my threads are subscribed to. I build my own systems and fix computers on the side for extra money. I work for Comcast here in CA.

Buenos noches...
