Default New to the Area

Hi, I'm moving to Pilot Station, Alaska this fall. Any information about the area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I lived in Bethel for 16 years. I don't know why you're going to Pilot Station or from where you are right now but be prepared for a significant culture shock. There are no roads in or out, no significant ammenities (may or not have flush toilets), several layers of government, a certain amount of racial tension, and a lot of different ways. Not meaning to sound negative but if you are not used to living a rustic lifestyle it can be difficult.
