So it was staged? How did she manage that?

Today's cameras are tiny, and bear spray canisters aren't terribly large. The thing is real.

No folks, it wasn't staged. She had a go-pro on her head. Berg bay is a short distance from Wrangell. After swimming to the sailboat she called for a ride to Wrangell along with her wounded kayak. Showed up in one of the local bars .......I'm told she talks like that ALL THE TIME! She really is that stupid. How the heck did she make it all the way from Ketchikan to Wrangell?

It seems like the pepper spray worked to get the bear away from her.

Well, there was really no reason for her to even spray the bear. And the bear could have easily attacked her; it was probably her voice that caused the animal to retreat. This bear clearly wasn't in attack mode.

She should have simply gone into the public use cabin that she was standing in front of and waited out the situation.

I guess you missed how easily that bear shook that off? If that bear wanted to get her, that pepper spray was not going to save her, that much is obvious.

The bear kept chewing on the kayak cause' that voice was driving. Him. Nuts. Had to vent his frustration somehow. Lollll.
