dude, seriously, I SAW Frank Murkowski on the plane from Anchorage to Fairbanks today. Flying coach.

He stopped and talked to my baby on his way off the plane.

'Cuz we took away his jet! Seriously, didn't we banish him or something?
He better not be coming to Juneau. I was just starting to heal those emotional scars formed by seeing his name on that sign coming out of the airport. Now it says Palin... which is better. But not a lot better.
I miss Tony.

I voted for Tony this last time 'round. The husband voted for Halcro. Oddly, we both kind of like this Palin lady now. She's sort of growing on us, I guess. Anyway, she has to be the cutest governor in the nation, and doesn't that count for something?

But yeah, going from private jet to flying coach on AK Air.... It's a tough world out there.

I think Sarah Palin has done a good job so far, but in my opinion, she needs to "hit a few home runs." so to speak. She has done well micro-managing smaller aspects of the government of Alaska. BUT WE NEED BIG DEALS MOVING FORWARD. We need commerce developed at a much faster rate and we need it now. If she can pull-off the gas deal, she will be a real hero.

All in all, she is one sharp lady and is a governor actually willing to sit and talk to us common folks. My wife sat next to her at a local high school football game this fall and she talked to her many other folks just like a regular Jane. It was very nice. You would never see ole Frank doing that.

Palin's okay... But something about her gives me the creeps. She doesn't seem very straightforward, and it worries me that she's trying to move the capital. I don't know... I've never met her, but just hearing stuff that she's done, she strikes me as... what's a good word? Disingenuous.

Maybe it's the juxtaposition of Palin against Murkowski that makes her look so good. Like taking prom photos with your chubbiest friend makes you look slenderer.

D'ya think anyone could really move the capital? Man, that would cause at least a three-way catfight.

I think she (Palin) looks TOO sweet Polly Purebread to me and THAT makes me uneasy.
