Can someone help me? I keep on running into controversial answers to my question
My husband works full time in a medical field here in VA. He wants to send in some resumes and talk to several medical centers/hospitals in AK. Does he have a chance at all, considering that he's nonresident? Will they just toss his papers out since he's not there yet or will they actually call him out for an interview? Our plans to move and become resident there are serious, however we're a one-income family (I'm a stay-at-home mom with small kids) so he can't quit his work before he found a new one, also for health insurance reasons. I saw several jobs that require the applicant to be Alaskan resident and I'm discouraged
We won't run back here after a year, either, our plans are permanent - but will anybody actually consider it when hiring from out-of-state?
Thanks a lot!
