You should go check the place out, make sure your credit card is good, you'll be there a while. They have all brands of clothing there than what they show in the magazines. Back in August when I was driving to Salt Lake from Montana, I almost talked myself into taking a detour to Boise just to say that I went to a Cabela's store. Then I thought that it was about 3 hours out of my way. Anyways, do check out the retail store, you'll like it. |

Warpt...I checked out Cabela's on opening day....but I honestly have to be the only woman on this green earth who does NOT like to shop....I was just annoyed by all the people so I didn't get to look at anything but the taxidermy display. But since it's superbowl weekend and I soooo don't care...that seems like premium time to hit Cabelas.

Was just wondering where you live now, trying to figure that out. If you are near a Cabela's, you are in the mid west somewhere.

North Face is not the comapny it was a decade ago. Since it's buy-out quality has gone to crap and the price has gone up. Their warranty is not worth the paper iit's written on either.
I do own one North Face coat, got it on sale for 60% off, very warm, but has so much damn velcro on it I'm a complete hazard to myself. |

Another good place....Sierra Trading Post
They are a great company with all the major brands., usually at big discounts....and if you can't live without it saying North face on it, they frequently sell NF at huge discounts North face is all about paying extra for the name..... If you're ever driving through Nebraska heading west on Hwy 30 first you come to the biggest Cabalas (Kearney, Nebraska) on the planet and about 20 miles more and you come to Sierra Trading Sierra Trading.... Sierra Trading Post - Save 35-70% on Famous Name Brands |

I'll agree with BarkingOwl, LLBean, Carhartt, and Cabelas, good quality, reasonable prices. I have some flannel shirts from Bean that I've been wearing for over 15 yrs and they really don't look old at all.
