Yea...tell me about it. If you don't dress like hootchie mama, show some skin, have some neat piercings and tatoos, then men won't give you a second look. SO...if you got men looking for the female types...that may be what you get from the lesser 48. I'm not impressed with guys anymore...intelligence, personality, a kind heart....these things seem to matter little anymore. It is more about what you look like, what you have,...the trappings and the show... So NOT me...

Hmm... So can you catch, clean & cook salmon? I know you have talents outside of what most people think of as "the norm."

Ha Ha. Noooooo. But I can learn! It's not like I walk around in flannel shirts and combat boots...although I do own those too but what I'm saying is that so many guys want that Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, whatever look that alot of the more down to earth gals get overlooked. The more skin you show, the more attention you get paid...but guys ultimately dont want to bring these women home to mom, but they seem to be the only ones they pay attention to. Idon't know how these things work, so I just took my name out of the pool altogether. I, along with others, am frustrated with the dating scene so I have learned to be happy with myself, my life, and forget the whole marriage and kids thing. You have to live your life for what it is now and not what you wish it were.

Nothing wrong with either of those pieces of apparel. I wouldn't want to be using a chain saw in shorts, for example.

I'd be thinking that the less skin you show the more a guy would be wondering exactly what lies beneath the flannel & the boots. Are the down to earth gals more romantics at heart?

Being happy with yourself first is the most important thing of all, at least its been that way for me. I also found that when you stop looking for love it gives the universe some time to send love your way.

Down to earth girls are more practical at heart. I wouldn't, for instance, wear heels while I am running errands around town. I just don't see the point in being uncomfortable. That doesn't mean I slouch it down, but it also means I'm not competing in a fashion show. YOu see alot of that...or you see the other extreme where people dress like they grabbed their clothes out of the hamper....you see alot of that in the Pac NW!!!

This may sound PEDO-like, but I found my wife on AOL. It turned out we went to the same highschool and we've been highschool sweethearts since. 8 years and a set of twins, still going strong.
