I noticed some of the posters here have found the Alaska Cruise Critic and have now started to torment and harass the summertime curisers....Thanks for keeping it real

I am not tormenting!!!
I'm... uh, keeping it real.

Okay, so I don't actually know what that means. But it's February, and you know what that means!! Midwinter blues... and what's a girl to do?
Bon mardi gras tout le monde!!

People in that section seem pretty open to learning about Alaska. I ran into a guy here last night in Community Chat I think who was having a fit about me posting so much on other forums.

Post on whatever forum you want. This is America, land of the free, home of the brave and ever increasing taxes. Pretty soon we'll be having another Boston Tea Party over in Jackpot Bay. What else are we supposed to do in the middle of winter, chop wood and feed the dogs???

Already did that this morning...now I'm on dial up because the snow got to the satellite dish and Cruise Critic loads way too slowly. Damn.

Metlakatla - the majority of the folks up there must not feel as you do, or there would certainly be some way to cut the number of cruise ships visiting, rather than just impose the charge of $50 per head per cruiser. You may not think the cruisers necessary, but someone, somewhere in your State wants them!

Hmmmmmmmmm....

Metla when you post on CC & the page goes blank or freezes. Go up to the address bar & chop off everything after cc.com/ Then go to the main index & reload the section. I do that & it eliminates double & triple posts. They really need a better server.

Hmm... Its a cruise board, so why the heck would I care that you went to Jamaica in 1989? Putting land in front of those destinations make it that much more laughable/pitiful I'm not sure which.
